In order to achieve the beginning of something by NOVEMBER 15th, we propose to circulate this document today and to get feedback by all interested parties by Friday November 7th; and see if we can agree on :

  • A joint slogan
  • a joint statement
  • a drawing?

Bridge Initiative is in no way legitimate to take the political lead on all of this. So it’s only if you all feel that something could be achieved collectively in so little time that there should be a go ahead…

What Bridge Initiative can offer is :

  • to open up a discussion space on our O-Change website in order to facilitate an exchange of ideas between all of you. This would leave us 8 days to spread the word (between Friday November 7th, and Saturday November 15th). It is not impossible to achieve.
  • to use all of its contacts with the media to draw attention and provoke a « viral » dissemination through the web and on so called « Social Networks » : Facebook, Daily Motion, You Tube, Twitter, etc..
  • to ensure the geo-localisation and the hosting of videos on all of the events (we have an agreement with Daily Motion for our O-Change Platform) to try and establish video links between the different events..
  • to guarantee a possible facilitation follow-up to November 15th towards the upcoming events.
  • to open up our discussion to the public in order to get people involved and have them express their own ideas on how to generate change. This could happen through Bridge Initiative’s O-Change platform, which aims to “Convince the powerless that things can change, Convince the powerful that things must change”. By the way, O-Change does not mean “Obama for Change” but “Olympiads for Change”... This is an approach we have been developing over the last 3 years..
