> About Bridge-Initiative
Bridge Initiative is a French NGO. The objective is to enable dialogue between different actors holding contradictory opinions on questions of globalisation. It creates and develops a neutral space for dialogue by using innovative tools that allow those taking part in the discussion on the future of globalisation to participate in meetings, public debate and mediatised events aimed at informing citizens on global issues.
After several years of existence, Bridge Initiative has contributed to reducing tension between actors of multilateral organisations and civil society, and has established a framework of rules that stimulate positive constructive dialogue.
Bridge Initiative also helps to identify possibilities for collective action at all levels, thus contributing to the growth of a climate of trust. Participants in Bridge Initiative include representatives of the main international institutions, governments, numerous NGOs, activist groups and civil society movements.
